Provincial Colour Logic
Provincial palettes derive from landscape: ochre from village walls, sage from olive groves, lavender from fields, stone grey from limestone cliffs.
We avoid pure white — it feels clinical against provincial textures. Instead we use limewash whites with warm undertones.
Room-by-Room Harmony
Adjacent rooms share undertones but vary in saturation. A sage dining room pairs with a paler celadon salon without jarring transition.
Seasonal Shifts
Summer accents introduce brighter yellow and coral through cushions and flowers. Winter deepens to burgundy and forest green in textiles.
Paint & Finish
We specify limewash, clay paint, and chalk emulsion from Farrow & Ball, Argile, and local millers. Sample pots tested on site for three days minimum.
